Here’s a tech blog for other techies, primarily centered around the experiences and observations of a seasoned Windows tech. Sometimes you just gotta share what you learn, and that’s what this is all about. Have a strange problem? Maybe I have a strange solution! There’s a lot of that going around in the Windows world.
There are tons of places to get help and tech solutions on the web, unfortunately many of them provide the wrong answers, miss the point, or just simply don’t have the answer. After all, the people behind the sites and message board posts are only that, people; nobody has every answer all of the time. With that in mind, I won’t bother with extremely redundant information unless I have a better way to handle it, and otherwise, I would like to post the obscure stuff that I have found solutions for by myself, only after failing to find those solutions anywhere else on the internet.
From time to time I may even publish some quick scripts of my own design to do some dirty tasks, of which I have TONS. Why Microsoft does not provide batch or other scripts on it’s technet / knowledge base articles for the applicable step by step solutions to certain issues is way beyond me; but if I’ve had to do it a number of times, you bet I’ll script it as much as possible.
Look forward to weekly posts with at least some very helpful content, although it may only be helpful to the average computer tech, admin, or adventurous soul with a frustrating problem.
Cheers!
