How can I consolidate my data for imaging??
Backing up to image files is largely preferred by some users because it’s a lot easier to mount files like virtual hard drives for simple searching and recovery. You would need to consolidate all your data to be backed up to one partition to make that feasible.
You could have the files such as My Documents, My Photos, My Music, My Videos and so on redirected to this partition. You can also redirect all individual programs that have information stores in a hidden User folder. Some softwares like their current home and don’t wish to be relocated… they will someday.
With all this being said, you know what you should do now???? Backup your data!!!! Yes!!! Do it…. NOW!!!! You have no excuse now.
