Our web host has also informed us of scheduled maintenance in the server region affecting CryptoPrevent licensing, d7II licensing, d7 and d7II cloud sharing servers, which is expected to last anywhere from a 15 minutes to two hours beginning at 10pm UTC (or 6pm Eastern Time for us…)
What is affected: Installation and license activation for CryptoPrevent (including individual and bulk/white-label deployments) are affected, as well as some services for our d7II technician software. d7II based services affected include the initial activation of a new d7II/d7IIx Alpha license (or ‘fresh download’ of the software), d7/d7II ‘dCloud’ sharing services for configurations and definition files, and specifically d7II ‘dCloud’ storage of configurations and definitions which includes hosted configurations for the ‘SFX Mini’ used in remote support scenarios. These services will not be functional during the scheduled downtime.
What is NOT affected: The CryptoPrevent, d7II, and d7x/d7IIx Alpha software and definition update servers, as well as the main Foolish IT download servers, website, and support portal will not be affected, nor will d7II configuration/definition storage including ‘SFX Mini’ usage when self-hosted FTP is used for configuration/definition storage.
Thanks for your understanding!
