Recently a user of one of our free tools wrote in to compliment us again on QuickHash, and had a request for the ever-increasingly used SHA512 hash algorithm being used to confirm downloads now from many major vendors. Looking through my code it was an easy implementation so I slid that in there, and released v1.1 today!
Also looking through the code, I see tons that can change/improve, tons! Please remember that QuickHash was written quite a while ago, and not much effort put into it. There is a lot we can do so you may see another version soon, especially if we get the requests for it, otherwise it must remain on the back-burner with KillEmAll v5 and d7x in heavy development, as KillEmAll v5 has already been released as a “FastTrack” version, and is well on the way to new feature additions!
