If you are a paid user of dSupportSuite, you know it’s been quite a while since there was an update to the client software beyond a digital certificate update. Finally, since d7x has been out for a while and is proven to be working great, we’ve began to move the dSupportSuite client software to the d7x Platform code. We have the client software (main executable dSupportSuite.exe and BootSafe.exe) on the d7x Platform code, and while everything is working as expected in our testing, we want more than limited in-house testing before we release it as a final update package.
Before you ask, YES this means that dSupportSuite properly recognizes Windows 10, and should function without the red dot appearing in the main interface when everything else checks out ok.
If you’re willing to put in a little time, consider testing the BETA update if you wish, and even deploying it to a client who understands what they would be receiving.
Affected areas:
Included in the BETA update are the dSupportSuite client software (main executable) dSupportSuite.exe and BootSafe.exe (used with d7x) which includes the user interface for the software on the client’s system, and performs the maintenance functions and all other functionality within the software except: Real-time Windows event log monitoring, email reporting of issues, whitelisting itself in Windows Defender, a splash screen, password change prompt when password reset functionality is used from within d7II/d7x, and the finally the registry backup functionality; these functions are handled by existing .exe files which have not yet been updated.
Instructions:
Test dSupportSuite client software usage by replacing the existing dSupportSuite.exe and BootSafe.exe files in the %programfiles% folder of an already installed copy of the client software.
Test configuration/deployment from within the Mgmt Console by replacing the dSupportSuite.exe and BootSafe.exe files in the %programdata%\Foolish IT\dSupportSuite\WorkDir folder.
Please report all issues to support.

If we have enough testers and all goes well, we hope to release the update through official channels before next month.
Thank you to all who participate!
