This area of config, for the Premium edition only, is your interface for scheduling tasks with dMaintenance Home Edition. From here you define a schedule to run this app to perform the maintenance routines (which also perform application updates,) as well as system restore point creation.
Automated scheduled maintenance can be scheduled weekly on a certain day, or monthly on a certain day/week. Prior to running scheduled maintenance, the application also checks for updates to itself and applies them if any exist.
You may create up to three daily or weekly schedules for automatic system restore point creation. System restore points force Windows to take a ‘snapshot’ style backup of your important files and settings. By using the System Restore feature in Windows, should you run into any troubles or issues, you can select these ‘snapshots’ to restore your computer’s files/settings to that point in time when the ‘snapshot’ backup was made.
