Yep, final 1.0 release, no longer BETA.
The license for personal use is FREE.
Also with this release comes the commercial version.
Benefits of Registration:
• Commercial use allowed on an UNLIMITED number of PCs.
• Ability to use on server operating systems.
• Ability to disable the tray icon for silent monitoring.
• A custom installer is created for you containing your configuration/preferences.
• Application is branded with your own company name and Foolish IT references are removed, as well as the donation link.
Registering for a commercial license works like this:
• Once you purchase it, you own the rights to install it on as many of your clients’ computers as you like. You are free to brand the application as your own, and charge your clients a fee for it’s installation, usage, and monitoring as you see fit.
* You may NOT redistribute the commercial version of this application to any 3rd party torrent/download sites, etc., however you may host the application on your own website for the sole purpose of providing it to your direct clients.
• There is no fee schedule for companies of a certain size, the app has one price point and I won’t raise the price just because your business is larger than another.
• Minor application udpates (bug fixes, minor feature enhancements, etc.) will be rare, yet provided to you at no charge through the updater functionality in the app only; major updates (new functionality that doesn’t qualify as “minor”) to the application will likely require a new license to be purchased.
• Due to the nature of creating a custom installer for you, any time you wish to CHANGE something about the custom installer, even the bundled version of the app, I will need to recompile it for you! In exchange for doing this, I will charge a fee for the labor. You have one week from the time I deliver the custom installer to you to ensure it is exactly the way you want it, during that time I will work with you to ensure you have the installer you are after. Beyond that, I will begin to charge the fee each time you wish to modify the installer.
