I had several requests from techs who like to leave D7 and all of the 3rd Party Tools on a client’s computer – especially when working on a remote system the download of everything can be quite time consuming…
So with v4.9.6 the Close & Delete D7 Directory button has been renamed to Close with Options. Now it enables you to delete itself as before, but you may instead choose to password protect the D7 suite of EXEs, so that a client can’t find it, launch it (without the password), and mess around with it potentially screwing up their system.
Also new in this release: Added new features on Maintenance tab to delete all IE Toolbars and BHOs, same functionality with Search Scopes is on Tweaks tab under IE > Clean IE.
Enjoy!
