The Maintenance/Diag page is no more. In it’s place is the Audit/Diagnose page! The Audit/Diagnose page contains all of the custom apps from Maint/Diag, however it doesn’t contain a lot of the ‘fat’ and filler items that could be found elsewhere in d7. Additionally, it adds all reports generation in one place, with Auto Mode (including save/load defaults, and Full Auto Mode support,) and finally includes a new report LastActivityView.html, thanks to the app of...
I have a survey for existing d7 Premium owners, and I’d love it if you would participate! I’m attempting to mine data on d7 usage to find out what is important to you, and what isn’t, so I know where to focus my efforts on improvements, and where to ‘cut the fat.’ Additionally, IF you complete the survey AND have a few minutes extra, please consider writing a review on your experience with d7 and how...
Specifically, v9.0.2 at the moment. Below are some highlights, specifics will remain in the Revision History. IMPORTANT: Remove all shutdown scripts that delete anything from d7’s root directory. This is no longer supported. Implemented a larger d7 interface which requires resolutions greater than 800×600 (the old interface will always be displayed @ less than 1024×768) Now supporting BMP/GIF/JPG/PNG files for the applogo, which has been cleaned up and the dimensions adjusted for better positioning and...
NEW! d7 Flash Drives now available! 8GB in size! Plenty of room for a bootable ‘live’ OS + d7 + all your 3rd Party Tools. USB 2.0 (sorry, couldn’t get 3) Engraved printing on both sides with the d7 and Foolish IT logos. Never get your flash drive mixed up with a friend or coworker’s… Opens any capped bottle with ease, especially those containing a good I.P.A. Bottle opener loop also makes it quite easy to...
Finally!!! As I’m constantly trying to add more features and value to dCloud, I’ve finally hit on something that I should have done long ago. d7 users subscribing to dCloud, and dSupportSuite users alike, can now use Foolish IT’s own SMTP server instead of having to configure your own. This provides several benefits, starting with the fact that you don’t have to screw around with getting the settings configured properly in your dApps. Also you...
Here we are: … and the holy trinity is complete:
Formerly D7, d7 now has a new face!
There is an issue with D7 crashing during startup on some systems in recent versions, and currently I cannot isolate the specific issue. In the mean time, the download (and update) links for D7 have been reverted to v8.5.50 which is known stable. If you are experiencing any issues with a higher version, please downgrade to v8.5.50 if possible by simply forcing a D7 update – if you cannot start D7 then download the full...
Integrated into both D7’s malware page, and dSupportSuite’s Maintenance routine, the apps can now fully automate the updating and scanning of the command line version of Microsoft Security Essentials (if installed) or Windows Defender (if MSSE is not installed.) With dSupportSuite, the integration does have more options of course, like the ability to email a fully customizable alert to you and/or your client when infections are discovered yet not repaired automatically, or when the application...
