Performed a lot of work to improve deleting stubborn files/directories and registry keys/values in various functions, part of which has to do with the next item. Vastly improved internal d7x functionality to take ownership of files and registry keys/values, and taking ownership of files and registry keys/values. Updated “Extensions – Action\Take Ownership/Permissions” shell extension to use faster internal d7x functionality before resorting to subinacl.exe. Replaced all functionality involving (the d7II based) FileHandler.exe with internal d7x.exe...
Updated KillEmAll to fix issues with not recognizing when it actually terminated a process. KillEmAll no longer attempts (and fails) to terminate a few Windows Defender processes. Several other minor issues under the hood were addressed.
More new tweaks, making over 40 tweaks added for Windows 10 in the December, 2020 updates. Added more cached wallpaper locations/files and the account pictures paths (both from AppData\Roaming) to DataGrab backup for each user account. Fixed: When installing dSupportSuite included with d7x, the maintenance and other scheduled tasks weren’t being created properly unless you ran the “Set Client Details” prompt. This has been fixed. New: Various descriptions on the various new tweaks we’ve added (over 30 this month, most recently including the ability to set default or entirely blank the start menu and taskbar, removing all pinned items with optional exceptions.) Fixed the “Wireless Passwords” function on the Audit/Diagnose tab, so your WirelessKeys.txt properly appears in the Reports tab.
