It is best described as a business card with a purpose. The first idea is that end users are always looking for an application to fix their registry, or check computer […]
Founder and Developer - After over a dozen years "in the trenches" as a computer repair technician specializing in malware removal, I came to focus on a software development hobby. Initially I created tools to assist technicians like myself with the inefficient, repetitive, and mundane tasks PC techs face daily, in order to provide a far more efficient means of getting the job done. Later came an interest in using my development skills and tech experience for prevention of malware...
WARNING: I’ve had two people inform me that after using D7 they end up with a corrupted registry on reboot, and have had to replace the hives with backups from System Volume Information. Unfortunately, I haven’t run into the issue myself… and I’ve only had two people come up with it (and contact me, at […]
Just a reminder… If you don’t know what you are doing with D7, then please don’t use it! It is a tool for experienced users and PC technicians who know what they are looking at. You can do major damage to your operating system and software if you aren’t familiar with something. Unfortunately there are […]

If you’ve got a problem with D7, or any application for that matter, it’s always best to RTFM. Not to be harsh, but posting hateful garbage on internet forums because you didn’t RTFM isn’t the way to get your issues resolved in any situation. If you can’t RTFM for some reason, then I’ll try to […]
So I just got this email, and this site has posted my current version for download, and stating I’m an award winner, with this banner URL referenced for, I assume, my use. At least for the moment, I’m featured on the main landing page for the site. The product page is here. Well, thanks guys, […]

Well, not so new to me and my crew, I finally decided that it was working (almost) well enough to go public, so I jumped the gun and posted it on the Technibble forums first, just to see what happened (hey, it’s not like anyone reads this blog.) So far, it looks like people like […]
First, what I’m trying to accomplish is not XP Visual Styles or any of that mess. I’m only after ensuring that the application runs as Administrator on Vista/7/2008 boxes, so it functions properly. I’ve found numerous resources on manifest creation and embedding, all in various locations with some different techniques, all seem to involve a […]
Tiny app to send email with command line parameters or via static config. Use it in your scripts or by other apps to send you an alert email when a certain condition is met. For example I use it in a backup script to alert me when a client’s backup fails… Enjoy!
