I just saw a Youtube video of someone ELSE demoing my D7, (sweet!) which reminded me I was long overdue in fixing something.
When D7 attempts to delete live running malware, it fails the first attempt – because the malware is running, naturally! Never fear, D7 can terminate that malware and finish the job.
The problem occurred when D7 made its first attempt at deletion – you got a Windows prompt that asks you to “Try Again/Cancel” … as this was not a D7 prompt but a Windows prompt, clicking Try Again will only result in failure, again. You had to click CANCEL to allow D7 to continue deleting the malware.
Unfortunately, some people didn’t realize this…
No problem, however, in v4.0.6 you will no longer receive the prompt!
So now you know what you no longer have to know!
Cheers!
