- Fixed a big issue with dSupportSuite client software not downloading the latest language INI file information, causing language to be missing from various prompts (e.g. the cancel maintenance timeout prompt displayed only a numerical countdown, without the explanation as to what is counting down or what the button does.) NOTE: that this is the Config\AltLang.ini file, which is designed so that you can edit the contents to alter the language, but the file wasn’t being downloaded as expected. After this release if the file doesn’t contain the all of the settings that it should, it will be redownloaded.
- Change: dSupportSuite now gives a 5 second cancel timeout prompt when you start maintenance manually (by clicking the button in dSupportSuite) regardless of your configuration setting. The configuration setting for the prompt timeout is designed for those times when the maintenance routine starts automatically, which might catch the user off guard. When the user starts maintenance manually, longer timeouts (as configured) are not necessary as we believe them to be with automated maintenance catching the user off guard, so now we give only a 5 second prompt when started manually.
- Change: Cancelling the maintenance (if you started it manually by clicking the link in dSupportSuite) prompt now restarts the dSupportSuite main interface, whereas previously dSupportSuite just closed.
- Fix: dSupportSuite wasn’t applying all settings to the system when either configured through d7x or by holding SHIFT when starting dSupportSuite.exe itself. What was missing were actions normally performed by the dSupportSuite install process, such as (re)setting the maintenance scheduled task on the PC, or enabling/disabling the Windows startup splash screen.
