- Fixed: the Offline tab’s “Disable BSOD AutoReboot & Enable Minidumps” functionality which was not performing the tweaks on the selected offline partition, but instead was operating on the currently active/online OS.
- Change: “Edit Offline Registry” on the Offline tab now launches RegEdit as System/TrustedInstaller to bypass ownership/permissions issues, because there is absolutely no reason for needing the current user view when the intent is to work with an offline registry.
- Added checks and prevention of some offline-only functionality when you don’t have an offline partition selected on the Offline tab. Added some messaging before functionality is used that works for both online and offline Windows partitions, which is shown to the user only when the Offline tab is configured for the online Windows partition.
- Added descriptions for Offline tab functionality when you mouse hover over the various buttons, as well as for the shared button when certain tabs are selected (e.g. a Full Auto Mode description now appears when the System Info tab is selected and you hover over the button.)
- Added a few button icons.
- Removed some d7x functionality that should not be used any longer, keeping these functions from being added to listboxes for usage. Note this will NOT remove the items from your pre-configured listboxes if you have them already there, and they will continue to function as they did before being removed in most cases (but for some functionality, it was broken already.)
- Removed Adobe Flash related functions (due to it being dead) for Repair, Update, and Test. Also removed Test Adobe Shockwave since it’s EOL was long before.
- Removed BootVis and KernrateViewer d7x functionality as both are only supported on Windows XP, they are performance related, they are separate download/installations, and I think it’s about time to stop supporting that with d7x..
- Removed UPHClean since Microsoft has removed all traces of it from their website. This is another one of those Windows XP things that just got gone…
- Removed UPHClean options as well as “Enable NLA for RDP on XP SP3 from the ‘Obscure Tweaks’ tab for the same reasons as above.
- Removed ShaperProbe (a 3rd party tool in the d7x functionality section) as that utility is no longer available for distribution, and all new downloads of the app were not working as a result.
- Removed ‘dUninstaller (UI)’ from the d7x functions list since this is now on it’s own tab (the Uninstall/Delete tab)
