If you missed the show from today (10/10/2016) or just want to review it again, we’ve got it edited and posted to our YouTube channel!
On this episode we focus on the ways to crack WPA2 WiFi passwords.
Starting with capturing a 4-way handshake using a Wifi Pineapple. Then creating a dictionary with crunch wordlist. Then to compiling a hash rainbow table with genpmk for the specific SSID from that wordlist. To finally recovering a password with generated rainbow table.
Spoiler Alert WPA2 is pretty secure as long as you have WPS disabled and a complex password. It also doesn’t hurt to change your SSID when you change your wifi passwords (which should be at least a few times a year).
